Common questions

Want to know more?

Privacy at Offload
Does Offload scan my whole gallery?

No. You choose which screenshots and photos to add.

Can I search the text in a screenshot?

Yes. Offload reads the image so you can search for details like a recipe, a place, or an event. Clear images work best. Double-check important details in the original.

Do I need to use the exact words?

No. Ask like you’d ask a friend: “Find the headphones Arjun recommended.” Offload uses both the image and your note to find what you mean.

Do I have to add a note?

No. Offload can search what’s in the image. A note adds details the image doesn’t show, like “Arjun recommended these for flights.” You can search for those details too.

Can I save more than screenshots?

Yes. You can also save photos, notes, links, PDFs, Word documents, and text files. You can speak a note instead of typing it. Video and audio file uploads are not currently supported.

Are my images end-to-end encrypted?

No. Offload and its service providers need to read your saved images to make them searchable. See the privacy policy for details.

What can affect the results?
  • Clear images work best. Blurry or cut-off text can be missed.
  • Add a note for things the image doesn’t show, like who sent it or why you saved it.
  • Double-check important names, dates, and prices in the original image.
  • Offload and its service providers process your saved images. See the privacy policy for details.
  • Offload is in beta. Features may change.
